Guess where we got to go last night?!?!

    Anyone? Anyone?

The ER! Yep that's right... Cole did it yet again. He stuck a roley poley in his nose at daycare and then decided to tell me on the way home that he had something hard in his nose. After piecing together the story, I called the dr. at 6pm and she told me to take him to the ER.

They flushed out his nose, who knows if the thing was up there because if it was, it went to his stomach! GROSS HUH!!!. That was one expensive lesson and I hope that he has now learned that he should NEVER stick things up his nose!!

The triage nurses said we hope to not see you here for something in his ears. I said, don't give him any ideas!

Seriously what is wrong with this kid!!

I was getting everyone dressed for school and the boys had gone out the back door and come back in with a roley poley. Well while I was helping Logan with his socks (some mornings he "claims" he can't do it) I know he can he just sees little brother get all the help and wants t obe babied. I look up and say, Where is the roley poley and Cole says, My NOSE! WHAT! I say blow out. Instead he blows in. I say no blow OUT! He blows in again. I yell for Travis. He comes running. I tell Cole to blow out one more time and out blows the roley poley. We give him the don't stick things up your nose speech...

Seriously Logan was never this crazy!!

Logan's assessment was the morning and he did AWESOME!! He totally impressed the reading specialist. Of course he knew his letters, numbers. He started to count and after he had reached 150 she looked at me and said how far can he go, and I said how far do you want to listen? I told her he can look at a number and tell you what it is.

She also had him do a bunch of sight words, he ended up knowing sight words that 1st graders should know. She said he probably knew ones that 2nd graders knew but she didn't have that testing material with her. He read her a few books and that impressed her as well.

All in all I would say it was an excellent assessment and she said he is more than prepared for kindergarten!!

Cole had his 3 year check-up yesterday and he weighed 33 lbs and was 37 and 3/4 inches tall. Of course when the Dr. asked him count he wouldn't, when she asked him to tell colors, he wouldn't. Other than that he is healthy as all 3 year olds should be!

Cole had a great birthday party on Saturday and got a ton of dinosaur presents! Check out the May photo album!

In other news the boys now have a cousin! Abigail Grace was born this morning at 4:21 am weighing 9lbs 1oz and 20.5 inches!! She was bigger than her cousins! We are so excited to have her in the family!!
